Tricia and Sean Mulcahy founded Leather Leather Furniture Gallery in 2003 after working at Leather Center. At our family showroom in Menlo Park, we help you choose fine leather and fabric furniture, create a custom piece, or give a favorite piece a second life.

Decades of upholstery and restoration work have taught us what holds up over time, from the frame and suspension to the cushions and covering. That experience shapes what we carry and what we recommend.

Our Independent Custom Furniture Line

Bring us the piece you wish you could find. We regularly plan custom sectionals, sofas, and other upholstered pieces around the room, the way you sit, and the look you want. We can start from a sketch, an inspiration photo, a floor plan, or a rough idea, and work with you on an original piece in leather, fabric, or both.

For a sectional, we can work through the overall footprint, which side the return goes on, frame and seat depth, back height, cushion feel, arm style, and upholstery. We’ll review the planned dimensions and details with you before you order.

Renew a Piece You Love

A well-built sofa, chair, or sectional deserves a second look before it goes to the landfill. Reupholstery can keep a piece you love in use, preserve a frame that already fits the room, and give you a new look and a more comfortable seat.

We evaluate the furniture from the frame up. Depending on what we find, the project may include tightening or repairing the frame, replacing worn springs or webbing, rebuilding cushions, and fitting new leather or fabric. If the original leather can be saved, leather repair or redyeing may be a better fit. If the covering is in good condition and the seats have lost support, custom cushion foam replacement may be all you need.

We’ll explain what’s worth keeping, what needs attention, and which materials will suit the piece and the way you use it. That same experience helps us judge the quality of the new furniture we carry.
